Smart Shark was founded by husband and wife team, Jonathan and Renee Lautermilch. Together they have paved the way for hundreds of business pros across the globe to create freedom and legacy in every area of their lives.

Jonathan Lautermilch

Chief Executive Officer

CEO of Smart Shark, a highly sought-after business growth consultancy. Jonathan’s mission in life is to help business owners turn their vision into reality. Jonathan has 14 years of business development experience, is a best-selling author, and is a Co-Host on the Real Talk With Real Fit Pros Podcast.

Jonathan has coached thousands of coaches and business owners in starting, scaling and growing their business. He’s also a loving husband, a soon to be father and lives in Dallas, Texas.

Renee Lautermilch

Chief Operating Officer

Renée Lautermilch is a highly accomplished learning and development leader with over 20 years of experience in various industries, including healthcare, fitness, and hospitality. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Human Resources, then pursued an MBA, and MEd.Renée has put her knowledge to good use and has won several leadership awards.

Currently, she is recognized as the Learning and Performance Institute’s 2022 Learning Leader of the Year.She has co-founded two businesses; myHearingU, an online school dedicated to the education and further development of the next generation of hearing healthcare providers, and Smart Shark, a highly sought after business integration consultancy. In addition to the companies she has co-founded, she also built the learning & development departments of the largest retail hearing healthcare company in the United States and the world’s most iconic fitness gym brand.

In addition to her business ventures, Renee is a bestselling author of the book Leading Through Love: Throwing Out Everything Corporate Taught You About Leadership & Management.
